Saving Pages and Forms

Although nweb keeps a History list of all the pages you visited recently, it doesn’t keep items in the list indefinitely. Maybe you want to save a page (e.g. an online receipt) that has information on it that is only available while you have that page open. nweb can save that page for you. Sometimes you find yourself filling out an online form, but don’t have time to finish it and don’t want to start over from scratch later. With nweb, you can save that form with the information you have already filled out. A saved page is a copy of the page or form and is stored on the handheld until you delete it.

Saving a Page
If you find you would like to visit a Web site again, add a saved page to the Bookmark list. In this way, you can quickly return without having to remember and re-enter a long URL.

NOTE: If the Web page is a form or has time sensitive information (the page gets updated frequently), you may want to save the page rather than bookmark it.
  1. Open the Web address (URL) of the page you want to save.

  2. Tap the nweb logo and select Save Page from the Page menu.

  3. The Save Page As dialog box opens with a suggested name for the page. The default name is the page's title, with a unique number appended to it if another page with that name exists, or the URL if it has no title. Accept the default value or enter the name by which you want to identify this page.

  4. Select a Category in which to file this saved page under. The default is Unfiled.

  5. Tap the Save button to save the page. The page is saved on the device and you can view it when you are offline.
