Layout
This section shows the layout of nweb and defines the functions of the various action icons and indicators.

Action Icons


NOTE: A grayed out icon means it is not available

Main Menu
Tap the nweb logo to display the menu.

Home
Tap the Home icon to be taken to a preset home page.

Back
Tap the Back icon to return to the previous page or series of pages last visited.

Forward
Tap the Forward icon to return to a page or series of pages that had been visited, after the Back function has been used.

Stop
Tap the Stop icon to stop loading a page.

Refresh
Tap the Refresh icon to refresh, or reload, a Web page.

Bookmarks
Tap the Bookmarks icon to go to the Bookmarks page where you can Go to, Add, Edit and Delete bookmarks.

Coverage Strength
Coverage Strength indicator. 0 (lowest) to 5 (highest) bars indicate the strength of the signal received

Open Page
Tap the Open Page icon to go to the Open Page dialog box where you can enter long URLs.

URL History
Tap the “down arrow” icon, left of the URL Entry Field, to view the recent URL history. This only displays the recent history of what was manually entered in to the URL Entry Field (not accessed by links).

Go
Tap the Go icon to load the URL that is typed into the URL Entry Field.

Close Status Bar
Tap to hide the Status & Title Bar.

Open Status Bar
Tap to show the Status & Title Bar.

Expand Menu
Tap the Expand Menu icon to take nweb out of Full Screen mode

Search
The Search button appears when using the Find on Page function. Each time the button is tapped, the page is searched for the word entered in the Find: field.

End Search
The End Search button appears when using the Find on Page function. When the button is tapped, the Find on Page function is closed and the URL Entry Field is returned.

Scroll Bars


NOTE: Horizontal scroll bars only appear when the information appears within a table (whether the table is visible or not). Once the table is off the browser viewing area, the horizontal scroll bars disappear.

Vertical scroll bars allow the user to scroll up and down in order to see the information on the Web page. To use, tap and drag the black box on the scroll bar.

Horizontal scroll bars allow the user to scroll left and right in order to see the information on the Web page. To use, tap and drag the black box on the scroll bar.

Getting Help
Help is available in nweb. Most dialog boxes have help about the options within the dialog box. To see that information, tap the Tips icon .
