nweb allows you to enter a shorter version of a Web address if the protocol is http://. An example would be http://www.google.com (or www.google.com) can be entered just as google.com (you can drop the www as well). However, you must enter other protocols, such as https:// (HyperText Transfer Protocol - Secure), the protocol for access to secure Web servers.

  1. Tap the URL Entry field with your stylus. If a URL is already in the field, drag the stylus across the text to select it, and tap the Back key on your device to remove it.

  2. With Graffiti® strokes, spell out the URL for the page you want to visit.

  3. Tap the Go icon to the right of the URL Entry field. The Web page downloads.

Using The Open Page Dialog Box

Following a Link
Many Web pages contain links, which are text or images that when tapped, take you to another Web page or to another part of the same page. Like desktop browsers, nweb highlights these links by underlining them and giving them a distinct color. To follow a link in a Web page, tap the underlined link with your stylus. For images that are links, tap the image.
