Main Menu
nweb's Main Menu has common browser functions like Favorites, Back, Refresh, Load, etc.

  1. Go to the Main Menu by pressing the Options Softkey and selecting Menu. Press the Select Softkey or the center of the Navigation Joystick.
    -or-
    Press the Menu Softkey.


  2. Select the function you want to perform by highlighting the appropriate icon by using the Navigation Joystick.



  3. NOTE:A grayed out icon means that function is not available.

  4. Use the OK Softkey to launch the function, and the Cancel Softkey to close the Main Menu without performing any actions.

nweb provides shortcuts to the Main Menu. Pressing the assigned key while on a Web page will initiate the function. Example: Pressing the 5 Key will open the Address screen (same as selecting the Load icon). Below are the various icons and shortcuts for the menu commands.


NOTE: The Main Menu shortcuts are only available when on a Web page or the Main Menu.

Home
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey takes you to your home page. Shortcut: 1

Show Favorites
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey displays the Favorites screen. The screen contains a list of saved Web addresses. Shortcut: 2

Add To Favorites
Start from the page you want to bookmark. Press the Menu Softkey, select this icon and press the OK Softkey. The Web address is automatically saved to your Favorites. Shortcut: 3

Back
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey allows you to return to a page or series of pages that had been previously visited. Shortcut: 4

Load
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey displays the Address screen. Shortcut: 5

Forward
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey allows you to return to a page or series of pages that had been visited after the Back function had been used. Shortcut: 6

History
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey displays the History screen. The screen contains a list of visited Web addresses. Shortcut: 7

Refresh
From the current Web page, press the Menu Softkey and select this icon. Pressing the OK Softkey displays an updated version of the Web page. Shortcut: 8

Options
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey displays the Options screen. On this screen, various features can be enabled/disabled and Host address and ports can be entered/changed. Shortcut: 9

Help
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey displays the nweb Help page. Shortcut: *

About
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey displays the nweb by Novarra Version page. Shortcut: 0

Exit
Selecting this icon and pressing the OK Softkey takes you out of nweb and back to the screen from where you launched. Shortcut: None
